Summary: Perfect for a novice, or anyone else
Comment: I purchased this printer for my wife along with her first digital camera. She is a complete techno novice. She has never used a computer. She was able to set up the printer, print photos and use the editing features on her own the first day she had it. The photo quailty and speed is impressive. The unit stores convieniently ans it has a great look and feel.

Comment: I recently bought the A616 and it is very easy to operate, not complicated at all. Perfect size. This is definitely user friendly. The pictures come out very clear and nice. The ink cartridges are at a reasonable cost which was also important to me.

Summary: Great Fun!
Comment: Got this for my son-in-law for Christmas. He loves to tinker with computers and electronics, and this has been a great buy. He connected it up to the TV so that we were able to view several family members' pictures in a slide show, and printed selected pics quickly. It's a great portable size, quality was good, took him just a few minutes to set it up, and was delighted with the results.

Summary: Easy, Compact and Quality
Comment: I just bought this printer for my wife for Christmas and I must say it is amazing. The print quality is the same as shutterfly and better than costco. I bought her the battery pack and case and she loves it. She is not tech savy and she has no problems using it. It usualy takes about 2 minutes to print a 4X6 picture at great quality. We plan to take it on all trips to Grandma's.

Summary: I bought the refurbished A616 for $39.95 and love it!
Comment: I'm real happy with the performance of this model, I have one of the first HP printers of this type and
must say they've improved over the years. Print speed is about 2 mins. and using the best HP
photo paper it makes near perfect prints. I did try the cheaper HP photo paper, the darker areas
have a hazed look, this is NOT the case using the HP Premium Plus Photo Paper. I bought a refurbished
one about 3 months ago and couldn't tell it from new, HP offers the same one year warr. and includes
everything the new one comes with, even the ink! I've found for me most things that are refurbished
have perform perfectly, it was worth the chance this time.
