Comment: I bought this for my parents when they told me there other one wasn't printing well. They found out that it just needed to be cleaned!!! So this purchase was returned.
I have only purchased Lexmark printers and they are a GREAT buy. I check reviews from various sites before purchsing. This printer was rated pretty good.

Summary: worth it for the money
Comment: i purchased the lexmark x2550 - 3in1 printer to serve as a copier and printer. the printer is well worth it for the money. the one thing i wish lexmark did is to include a black ink cartridge. this printer is acceptable in terms of performance and used only for light to moderate printing needs.

Comment: The printer works fine, scanner and copier works great. When I bought it on Amazon, I found out after I received it that it did not come with a black ink cartridge or a cord to connect it to the computer. I guess this is because the company is leaveing out the components to make it seem much cheaper for mass marketing.

Summary: Lexmark X2550 All-in-One
Comment: Excellent all-in-one printer for the price, and as usual Amazon beats everyone. I did not however receive the X2550 which I ordered, but instead was shipped the X2500. Basically the exact same unit with a few slight differences of no consequence at all. The install was effortless, quality of prints is superb for a printer in this price range and the speed is admirable. Be advised when making your choice that, though it is not disclosed anywhere except in micro print on the box, you will NOT receive a black ink cartridge (only color), nor the USB cable necessary to connect it. If you're not using it on a computer the latter will not be necessary, but just don't plan to take it out of the box and use it as it arrives without the aforementioned. Nor will anyone tell you except Lexmark Tech Support that it is indeed compatible with the high yeild #34 and #35 cartridges. My biggest complaint is that Amazon chose to ship the wrong item and did so in only the thin stock box for display, never intended for the abuse of today's delivery carriers. Thanks to the great packaging by Lexmark at the factory it survived nonetheless. All in all for the modest investment it is a great product!
