Summary: Great camera for my daughter Comment: I recently bought this camera for my daughter's 8th birthday. She loves it! We haven't really seen any of the problems that the other reviews claim, so maybe they were just unlucky and got a faulty camera. I've had that happen myself with a couple electronic devices I've purchased in the past, but I was able to exchange them at the places I bought them - and the replacement always ended up working fine (so it was just a manufacturing defect I'm guessing). This camera isn't quite 1 megapixel, so it doesn't take the best pictures ever, but what do you expect for a kids camera? Especially a camera that isn't even 1 megapixel - I think if you expect a camera that's less than a megapixel to have crystal clear pictures, then you need to stick with 35mm, or do some more research on digital cameras so you know what to expect and what you're talking about. My daughter loves Hannah Montana, and she also loves stealing my digital camera to play with. The fact that I found a starter toy camera with Hannah on it was the main motivating factor for me, because now she wants to play with her camera more than mine....so I'm not going to complain.

Summary: Kids Camera Comment: Buying via Amazon was great as usual. The right products and excellent delivery. The easy paying arrangements are also a pus.
Keep up the good work.

Summary: Not Worth Your Money Comment: I agree with other reviews - would like to give it a 0/5. This was received by my daughter as a Christmas gift. We spent about 5 minutes with the item before completely giving up - battery location hard to find, image on back screen very dark and grainy, power button wouldn't turn off camera, etc, etc. (Didn't even try downloading photos to the computer) Anything else would be more useful for the price - don't waste your time or money.

Summary: No Comment: We received this camera as a gift for our six year old daughter. She's a huge Hannah Montana fan and squealed with delight when she opened the package, but the fun ended there. The veiwfinder on the back doesn't display a true image of what you are aiming at. It's sort of a brownish duotone rather than a color image. The viewfinder also "drags" or "delays" about one second each time you try to aim at something else . The flash blasted out the detail on the pictures and the images were grainy when we uploaded them to the computer.
It's like this...our child has used our camera, with supervision on occasion, so the problem is she knows this Disney Pix camera doesn't behave like a camera should. After the third day, she cried "I can't see anything!" (in the viewfinder). Perhaps they should have omitted the digital viewfinder altogether and used a traditional peephole. Because it has the Disney name on it, I expected a quality item but this isn't the case. I wouldn't recommend this for any aged child. It's too expensive for a starter camera. I can forgive the grainy pictures because it's marketed for children, but if the child can't see what they're aiming at, what good is it? If you can get it out of its clamshell case, return it.
P.S. This camera will work on a Macintosh OSX in iPhoto, but you can't used the software that came with it ...and maybe the packaged software is fun to use, but I couldn't tell you.
